Follow the Voice of God is a Scripture-centered Christian ministry created to help people develop a deeper life of prayer, fellowship, and Spirit-led listening.
Through biblical teaching, practical guidance, and the King David Prayer Experience, we provide a welcoming place for pilgrims to draw near to the Lord, become attentive to His presence, and grow in recognizing and responding to His voice.
A Place to Draw Near, Listen, and Walk With God
Follow the Voice of God exists to help people develop a deeper life of prayer and fellowship with the Lord.
We believe prayer is more than speaking to God. It is also becoming attentive to His presence, listening through the born-again heart, and learning to recognize the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the light of Scripture.
Our purpose is to make that journey understandable and accessible. Through Scripture-centered teaching, practical resources, and guided prayer, we help pilgrims grow in confidence as they receive, examine, and faithfully respond to what God may be giving them.
There is nothing to master, perform, or prove. The invitation is simply to draw near to God and learn to walk with Him.
How This Journey Began
Follow the Voice of God began with a personal desire to hear the Lord more clearly and grow in a deeper, more consistent life of fellowship with Him.
That desire led me into Scripture, prayer, and a closer study of David’s relationship with God. Throughout David’s prayers, I began to recognize a recurring rhythm: he poured out his heart, became still, set the Lord before him, received what God was giving him, and remembered what he had received.
Over time, that rhythm became the foundation of the King David Prayer Experience—a simple, Scripture-centered journey created to help others draw near to God, listen through the born-again heart, and write down what the Lord may be giving them.
What began as a personal search grew into a ministry devoted to helping other pilgrims experience the same invitation: come near, listen, and learn to walk with God.
A Scripture-Centered, Spirit-Led Foundation
SCRIPTURE-CENTERED
God’s written Word reveals His character, teaches His ways, and provides the trustworthy foundation for recognizing and confirming His guidance.
SPIRIT-LED
The Holy Spirit lives within the believer, brings truth and understanding, and guides God’s children into faithful fellowship with Him.
THE BORN-AGAIN HEART
We learn to become attentive to what the Holy Spirit communicates within the born-again heart, receiving before overanalysis interrupts the message.
FAITHFUL DISCERNMENT
What we receive is important. We record it, bring it before the Lord, and seek understanding and confirmation through Scripture, spiritual fruit, prayer, and wise counsel.
FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD
The goal is not merely receiving answers or messages. The goal is knowing the Lord, enjoying His presence, and learning to walk with Him.
GRACE, NOT PERFORMANCE
There is nothing to master, perform, or prove. God patiently teaches willing hearts as they draw near, listen, and respond in faith.

A Simple Rhythm for Drawing Near to God
The King David Prayer Experience is a guided, Scripture-centered journey inspired by a recurring rhythm found throughout David’s prayers.
Its five movements help pilgrims pray honestly, become still, set the Lord before them, receive through the born-again heart, and record what they want to remember.
It is not a formula David followed word for word, and it is not a technique for manufacturing a spiritual experience. It is a gentle structure that helps return the heart and attention to God.
The goal is fellowship with the Lord.
